We are delighted to announce that Colston Hall, Bristol’s leading arts venue, have launched their own app ordering service. As the largest concert hall in Bristol, with a rich tradition stretching back to 1867 and a reputation for hosting some the world’s leading performers, this was a natural innovation for the venue to take.
The Colston Hall app is first going live for the hilarious Nina Conti’s ‘In Your Face’ ventriloquist show on 11th October and will then be available for all upcoming events for pre-show and interval drinks.
You can download the Colston Hall app from the App Store or Google Play Store. You’re then able to place your in order in a matter of seconds by choosing the event you’re attending, where you’re sat and then selecting what drinks you would like!
Richard Ridley, Bars Manager for the Bristol Music Trust that manage Colston Hall, adds that “once we were set on introducing pre-ordering Preoday were the stand out option. The flexibility, and live responsiveness of the platform mean we can offer an improved experience for our patrons without sacrificing control.”
At Preoday we’re excited that our platform is enabling patrons of Colston Hall to enjoy a more seamless concert going experience and look forward to working with the Bristol Music Trust team to extend their app and online ordering capacity further.
It’s not as catchy as: ‘When is a door not a door?’ (answer, when it’s a jar) but it speaks to the idea that in-car collection, and the technologies that support it, are flexible enough to bend to the needs of a business and its guests.
Delivery can be daunting to the uninitiated, and it might be tempting to sign up with a third-party ordering aggregator that offers the service, such as UberEats, but other options could suit your business and brand better. Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
