We’re excited to officially announce that Preoday have partnered with Cult Events to bring app and online ordering to co-living pioneers The Collective. Members at their new development in the heart of NW10 will from the 20th September be able to pre-order and pay direct from The Common restaurant, with the plan being to even begin delivering their delicious dishes to rooms and the local area in the near future.
Not just another place to live, the Old Oak residence is designed to be the perfect solution to life in London. In building out the space, The Collective took special care to ensure they were creating both a community and providing a way to eliminate the hassle of city living.
Introducing app and online ordering, therefore, was a natural step in Cult Event’s desire to continue pushing forward with innovative ways of enhancing the eating experience for The Common patrons.
Hugo Jones, Creative Director at Cult Events, said “by enabling members to pre-order from anywhere, and even branching out to delivery in the future, Preoday are really helping The Common execute on our vision to create a frictionless and streamlined food & beverage experience.”
You can download The Common Old Oak from the App Store or Google Play Store and start ordering in a matter of seconds. As an added bonus, members get a 25% discount off their first orders.
With the restaurant and bar serving up a seasonal British menu with exotic influences and a selection of drinks we can’t wait to visit and tuck in!
It’s not as catchy as: ‘When is a door not a door?’ (answer, when it’s a jar) but it speaks to the idea that in-car collection, and the technologies that support it, are flexible enough to bend to the needs of a business and its guests.
Delivery can be daunting to the uninitiated, and it might be tempting to sign up with a third-party ordering aggregator that offers the service, such as UberEats, but other options could suit your business and brand better. Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
