We’re delighted to announce that we’ve just partnered with G Live who from 3 November will be offering patrons the opportunity to pre-order and pay for their drinks and bar snacks.
Already, G Live has a well-earned reputation as the state-of-the-art events venue in Surrey and at Preoday we’re really excited to be involved in enhancing the live entertainment experience for show-goers.
With a capacity of up to 1,700 G Live is keen to ensure that their patrons spend less time queuing and more time revelling in the atmosphere. With a programme that stretches from live gigs to comedy, dance and family shows it was crucial that the technology solution they found could be easily used by anyone.
Patrons can download the app from the App Store and Google Play Store, and for first time customers there is a special 20% discount off your order. Once downloaded then it only remains to select what event they are attending, what they would like to order and then pay – it’s all done in a matter of seconds and couldn’t be simpler.
The new app and online ordering service will be available for the first time tonight when Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac play to a sell-out audience. But another event to look out for is their Hellfire Comedy nights where patrons enjoy the hottest up-and-coming stand-ups after having enjoyed a delicious homemade curry.
Ruth Lambert, General Manager at G Live, says “looking at the functionality provided by the Preoday platform it fits in perfectly with our vision to provide an environment that creates the best entertainment experiences for everyone. We’re really excited to see how we can introduce custom offers and use the flexibility of the platform to develop new business”.
It’s not as catchy as: ‘When is a door not a door?’ (answer, when it’s a jar) but it speaks to the idea that in-car collection, and the technologies that support it, are flexible enough to bend to the needs of a business and its guests.
Delivery can be daunting to the uninitiated, and it might be tempting to sign up with a third-party ordering aggregator that offers the service, such as UberEats, but other options could suit your business and brand better. Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
