Preoday is the leading provider of interval drinks apps for some of the most innovative arts venues across the UK. And very recently we have helped theatres receive even more orders through their platform by introducing a web-order version to complement the app.
The web orders is a simple pop-up lightbox that theatres embed in their existing websites. Patrons simply click the ‘Order Now’ button, choose the event they are attending, and then order and pay for their performance drinks days or even weeks before they step in the theatre. The layout is entirely white-label, easy-to-use, and of course mobile friendly.
The web-orders are managed from the same dashboard as the app, which means that every time you update the menu, the changes are immediately made to both the app as well as the web orders.
In the short time that our existing clients have been using the web-order feature we’ve already seen very promising results, with some theatres’ online ordering revenue increasing by up to a third. And with even more updates coming soon we are looking to see these figures go even higher!
It just goes to show that now patrons can order their performance drinks from their phone and now also online, that ordering at the bar will very soon be a thing of the past!

It’s not as catchy as: ‘When is a door not a door?’ (answer, when it’s a jar) but it speaks to the idea that in-car collection, and the technologies that support it, are flexible enough to bend to the needs of a business and its guests.
Delivery can be daunting to the uninitiated, and it might be tempting to sign up with a third-party ordering aggregator that offers the service, such as UberEats, but other options could suit your business and brand better. Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
