Leicester Curve Theatre launch their Eat Drink Shop app and web order service

The Curve Theatre at Leicester continues to demonstrate that they are leaders in theatre hospitality by introducing an app that lets patrons pre-order their pre-show, interval and post-show drinks from their smartphones with the new Curve Eat Drink Shop app

The Curve theatre-goers now no longer need to worry whether they’ll have time to grab a gin & tonic before the second half of the performance starts. Because now they can pre-order their refreshments hours, or even days, before they step into the theatre.

Patrons simply need to download Curve Eat Drink Shop for free from the App Store or Google Play, choose the event they are attending, select what they would like to order, and pay with their debit card- at the exact same price as paying at the bar.  They then pick up their order at the nearest collection slot to where they are sitting, and can spend the rest of the interval discussing the show itself, instead of queuing at the bar.

Patrons can also pre-order the drinks online at www.curveonline.co.uk/eat-drink-shop/app/

The app will be first available on Thursday the 25th of June for the performance of ‘Sister Act’.

Simon Cox, General Manager (Hospitality) at The Curve Theatre says ‘We are very excited to see how the Curve Eat Drink Shop app will improve our patrons’ theatre experience as well as streamline our bar operations. But above all it was the potential of Preoday’s platform that made them the obvious choice for our Curve Bars app, and we are looking forward to seeing how we can take it to the next level with web ordering and membership schemes.’
