Since its launch in 2016, Moody Burgers has held onto its passion to deliver restaurant quality burgers to customers’ front doors. Now, in 2018, it has partnered with Preoday to help it achieve its goals and gain full-control over the customer experience.
Moody Burger’s customers can order their freshly prepared burgers, wings, hot dogs, loaded fries, shakes & desserts through the restaurant’s own app, available to download from the App Store or Google Play.
In the past it has been notoriously difficult for companies to transport burgers effectively. By taking full control of the end-to-end ordering and delivery process, Moody Burgers can apply the stringent checks needed to maintain the in-store quality of delivered meals.
Carl Anderson, managing director of Moody Burgers says: “We have ambitious plans for Moody Burgers; we hope to continue expanding sites, eventually becoming the first choice delivery and collection chain in the country. As part of this we look to offer something different from the usual takeaway; amazing restaurant-quality dishes, but in the home. We hope that Preoday’s technology will play a role in helping us to achieve this. ”
Nick Hucker, CEO of Preoday adds: “Through the Preoday platform, Moody Burgers will have access to customer data and purchasing insights which will allow it to enhance its customer offering, creating personalised marketing campaigns and tracking ordering trends. We’re really excited that a business which puts such a strong emphasis on its digital ordering and delivery service has chosen Preoday to be its technology partner during this exciting period of growth.”
It’s not as catchy as: ‘When is a door not a door?’ (answer, when it’s a jar) but it speaks to the idea that in-car collection, and the technologies that support it, are flexible enough to bend to the needs of a business and its guests.
Delivery can be daunting to the uninitiated, and it might be tempting to sign up with a third-party ordering aggregator that offers the service, such as UberEats, but other options could suit your business and brand better. Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
