Theatre patrons in Sweden’s Värmland region can now pre-order refreshments from Scalateatern Karlstad
Scalateatern Karlstad is a popular theatre for plays, concerts and musicals in Karlstad, the capital of Sweden’s Värmland region. In 1992 the premises were converted from a cinema to a theatre. In addition to selling tickets to their own arrangements, the Scalateater sells tickets for events at other venues in Karlstad, Värmland and the rest of Sweden.
Patrons can now order interval drinks from the Google and iPhone apps and can also use the Ticketmaster app to order drinks and meat platters. In addition to theatrical productions, the theatre can be used for events such as conferences and lectures.
Nick Hucker, CEO of Preoday comments, “Consumers in Sweden are truly embracing the convenience of pre-ordering. Intervals in the middle of theatrical performances are a perfect example of a short time periods when customers’ experience of an event can be greatly enhanced by not having to waste that time standing in a queue.”

Here we present three different ‘levels’ of delivery, starting with the most basic – and cheapest method: doing it yourself.
